Description

This Is Not a Pitcher. It’s a Dispenser

Every other pitcher and jug on this site requires the same physical action: pick it up, tilt it, pour, set it down. Do that 40 times a day across a busy office kitchen and someone is eventually going to spill 2.5 litres of hot water on a counter, a laptop, or themselves.

An air pot works differently. It sits on the counter. It stays there. To get a drink, you place your cup under the spout and press the pump button. The mechanism pushes beverage up through the internal tube and out the spout. You never pick up the pot. You never tilt it. The pot can be full to capacity — 2.5kg of hot liquid — and dispensing a cup of tea requires the same effort as pressing a doorbell.

That’s the functional category difference. The 360° swivel base and the safety lock are refinements on top of that core design — but the core design is what makes this product appropriate for self-service environments where pitchers aren’t.

360° Swivel Base: What It Solves

In a fixed-spout air pot, the spout faces one direction. If someone moves the pot, or if the pot is positioned at an angle to the cup station, users either have to rotate the whole heavy vessel or position themselves awkwardly.

The 360° swivel base separates the pot body from the base. The pot body — and therefore the spout — rotates freely in any direction without lifting the unit. In a meeting room where attendees are seated on all sides, the spout can be turned to face each person in turn. On a buffet line where the pot is against a wall, the spout can face outward toward guests without the pot needing to be repositioned after filling.

It’s a detail that sounds minor until you manage a high-traffic beverage station and realise how often spout direction is a practical friction point.

Safety Lock and Pump Head

Toggle safety lock. A switch on the lid that disables the pump button when engaged. When locked, pressing the pump does nothing — no flow. This prevents accidental dispensing when someone brushes the pump button while reaching across the station, prevents children from triggering uncontrolled hot water flow, and gives operators the ability to lock the pot between service periods without removing it from the counter.

Removable pump head. The pump mechanism detaches from the lid for cleaning. An air pot that cannot be properly cleaned inside the pump tube accumulates residue that affects taste and hygiene over weeks of daily use. The removable head means the full dispensing pathway — tube, pump, and spout — can be cleared thoroughly. This matters in hospitality and office settings where the same pot is used continuously, not just occasionally.

85oz (2500ml) for Group Service

At 2500ml, one fill of this pot provides approximately 10–12 standard hot beverage servings. For a meeting of eight to ten people, that’s one fill per session. For an office tea station serving 20–30 people across a morning, two fills cover the period. For a buffet or catering event, it reduces the frequency of staff intervention at the beverage station to a minimum.

Double-wall vacuum insulation maintains beverage temperature for up to 12 hours. A pot filled at 8am with hot water or coffee stays at serving temperature through a standard office morning and lunch service without supplemental heating.

What are air pots?

An air pot (also called an airpot or air pump pot) is a vacuum-insulated water dispenser designed to keep drinks hot or cold for long periods and serve them easily without lifting or pouring.

Here’s what makes an air pot special:

  • Pump-to-serve design: Instead of tilting the container, you press a pump button or lever on the top, and the drink dispenses through a spout.
  • Large capacity: Usually 1.5–3 liters, ideal for offices, buffets, conferences, and coffee shops.
  • Vacuum insulation: Similar to a thermos, it keeps coffee hot or iced drinks cold for many hours.
  • Stainless steel construction: Most air pots use stainless steel inner and outer walls for durability and temperature retention.
  • Convenient for high-traffic settings: One fill can serve many people without constant refilling.
