50oz: The Volume That Changes the Equation
A 1-litre kettle serves two people and requires re-boiling. A 1.5-litre stainless steel electric kettle — this kettle — covers a morning team meeting, a small hotel room service run, or a full family breakfast in a single boil.
At 1500ml (50oz), the capacity mathematics work out to approximately 6–8 standard cups of tea or coffee from one fill. For an office of 4–6 people, that’s one boil at the start of the morning and one at mid-afternoon. For a hotel room, it’s a full day’s supply without a guest needing to re-boil. For a small café or food service counter, it reduces the number of heating cycles per service period while maintaining a clean, branded appliance on the counter.
The volume is the product strategy — everything else serves it.
STRIX Control and Temperature Range
The digital base uses STRIX temperature control technology — an internationally recognised standard that actively monitors the internal water temperature and adjusts the heating process rather than relying on a simple timer or boil-switch.
Temperature is programmable from 40°C to 100°C in 5°C increments. For institutional buyers, this matters because different beverages have different requirements: green tea at 75°C, black tea at 95°C, instant coffee at 90°C, baby formula at 40–50°C. A single kettle with programmable temperature can serve all of these correctly, removing the need for multiple appliances or user guesswork.
Post-boil, the double-wall vacuum construction maintains water at 80°C or above for at least 2 hours, and at 68°C or above for at least 4 hours without consuming power.
