800ml & 1000ml Capacity
800ml holds approximately a full plate of rice with a main dish and vegetables. 1000ml holds the same with room to add another portion without compression or overflow. These are jars sized for people who eat properly — not jars that make you eat half portions because the container ran out of space before the meal did.
Both sizes share the same 12.3cm base width. The 800ml stands 16.2cm tall; the 1000ml is 19.8cm. The difference is height, not diameter — both fit in the same bag pocket, both have the same grip.
Why 316 Stainless Steel Interior
Most insulated food jars — including others in Haers’ own range — use 304 stainless steel throughout. This product uses 316 stainless steel on the inner shell with a 304 exterior.
The reason 316 is specified for the interior is corrosion resistance under acidic conditions. Foods with vinegar, citrus, tomato, fermented sauces, and other acidic profiles present a slow but real degradation risk for 304 over years of daily use. 316’s higher molybdenum content resists this significantly better — the food contact surface stays cleaner and more inert across the lifetime of the product. For a jar that’s used every working day for years, this is a meaningful material upgrade.
It’s also what allows this product to be positioned as premium within the food jar category — the specification is genuinely higher, not just a marketing claim.
One Jar, No Extra Utensils
The lid unscrews and functions as a flat-bottomed bowl — stable enough to eat from directly. Combined with the folding stainless steel spoon stored in the jar, a user packing this in the morning leaves the house without needing to remember a separate bowl, a separate spoon, or a separate container for a sauce. Everything is in the jar. Everything is stainless steel and dishwasher-compatible.
