Tritan for Large Capacity Jug
This jug is built from Eastman Tritan — not stainless steel, not standard plastic. The distinction matters for the applications this jug is designed for.
At a restaurant table, a guest shouldn’t have to ask what’s in the jug. The Tritan body is crystal-clear, so still water, infused water, iced tea, or lemonade is visible at a glance — both for service staff topping up and for guests judging the contents before pouring. At 0.24kg (37oz) and 0.28kg (44oz) empty, these are among the lightest large-format jugs in this category; a full 1300ml jug weighs just over 1.5kg total, manageable with one hand on the ergonomic handle for extended table service.
Tritan is also BPA-free throughout — no bisphenol compounds of any type — dishwasher-safe, odour-neutral, and shatterproof. Unlike glass pitchers that break during service, this jug survives drops on tiled floors.
37oz vs 44oz — Choosing by Setting
37oz (1100ml) fits the two-to-three-person table. It’s a comfortable pour size for a restaurant setting — enough for a full table round without becoming unwieldy when full. It also works well as a personal all-day desk jug, a child’s sports-day water station, or a compact outdoor event vessel.
44oz (1300ml) suits larger tables, buffet stations, shared office water stations, and event catering where less frequent refilling is a priority. The slightly wider base at 14.5cm provides stability on uneven outdoor surfaces.
Both sizes share the same handle design, lid options, and hook attachment points — making it simple to stock both as a paired range under a single brand SKU structure.
Two Lid Options, Both with Dustproof Protection
The jug ships with a choice of two lids, both made from transparent Tritan with a built-in dustproof cover that snaps closed when not in use:
- Straw lid — sealed straw port with transparent protective cap; keeps the straw hygienic between pours and reduces spillage risk in transit
- Direct-drink lid — clean open-pour spout with snap-shut dustproof cover; better for table service and pouring into glasses
Custom lid colour and lid type selection are both available for bulk orders via the custom lid programme.
